NEWS ABOUT MY ORANGE TABBY CAT AND HIS FRIENDS

This site is about my cat. I am not obsessed with my cat, I do not think there is anything paticularly spectacular about my cat, I suppose I am a "Cat Person", but my limit is three, and if I do the required amount of maintenence and still smell them, they will have to go, no I don't mean that - I talk tough but they rule the roost for sure. The reason I am putting this site online, is because I need to have some sort of public record about this cat in case I dissapear. As I am writing this, the cat is sitting on my lap, watching, reading, he knows what I am doing, and I am glad because it could be the only thing keeping me alive.

From now on, at least for today, I will no longer refer to him as "Cat". He will now be known as "FiFi". He has gone through several names. When we picked him up at the shelter, he really did a pro con job on us, they told us his name was Stretch. It was of course because he has a habit of stretching out his backlegs constantly. He still does this. Well that name didn't take. From there, I believe we started calling him Juice, then OJ, then Orange Guy or The Orange Guy, then I believe it went to Homey (we refer to he and Oscar as "The homies" - more on Oscar later). After that I think it was l'Orange, then FiFi l'Orange, and now it's just FiFi. The name FiFi came about because my girlfriend Sarah, who was the intended owner of the cat, doesnt really like him, and she started calling him FiFi to imasculate him, I suppose this could be where his spite came from.

I have also seen this look on a few adopted kids in School

Fairly typical look from FiFi. Not very friendly is it? He almost looks like he is smiling, but it's not a welcoming smile. It is more a smile a bitter person gets when they are watching someone they dont know being inconvenienced. I've seen this smug look at coffee shops and standing in line at the airport.
The picture on the left is actually a pretty recent picture of FiFi. He was almost a year old when we picked him out. He was long and lanky and velvety soft. He was also very mellow, which in fact was because of a kennel sickness. It didn't last.
